This was the last time I saw grandpa. A few minutes after Cas took this photo, we got in an Uber to the airport and left for Denmark.I was thinking of using this as my author photo, but then Cas took the photo on the beach that I used instead.Our family friend Carlos, who is basically my brother, took the photos during our special day. He did an amazing job!!Before our small ceremony, we filled out most of the paperwork in the house – so when it came time to finish it, the most important parts were left for last!Mom and I were able to take time to stop in Mt. Vernon and stroll through the tulips on our way to Everett!!Heading to the mainland for a Little Caesar’s pizza!
